# ROADRUNR
ROADRUNR is leading the development of The Web3 of Vehicles. The ROADRUNR Protocol is a Web3, Consumer-Facing Dapp and Blockchain Network for Connected Cars and Vehicles that has elements of Game-Fi, Social-Fi, IoT (hardware) and Blockchain. The ROADRUNR application allows anyone to **Earn-while-you-Drive**. The ROADRUNR Protocol is re-imagining and developing a series of decentralized Applications for the Vehicle Industry, starting with a CarPooling Application and extending to Car Resale and later to a number of applications including Insurance/ Finance.
Founded in 2021 by a team of Engineers from IIT-Madras and an INSEAD MBA alumni, ROADRUNR is building on the IoTEX MachineFi platform, with a global launch in July-22 with its collection of NFTs and range of IoT Hardware devices.

1. Mobility today is fragmented, from OEMs to insurance to fleet management, traffic management to repair/resale working separately despite having similar needs for a digital infrastructure to develop and deploy data-driven services.
